Breakfast Sausage
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp dried thyme leaves
½ tsp brown sugar
¾ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp fennel (option)
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
⅛ tsp garlic powder
⅛ tsp smoked paprika
1 lb Linden Grange ground pork
Mix all ingredients with 1 lb ground meat. Mix until well blended.
Scoop out ¼ cupfuls and flatten into ¼” thick patties.
Griddle over medium-high heat until browned on one side, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes.
Option: Instead of patties- brown the seasoned ground pork in a pan and serve as sausage “crumbles” on breakfast burritos, add to your dish of oatmeal, …
